Arcady is excited to invite young listeners to a fun animal-themed concert on August 20 at 11:00am at 39 Kerr-Shaver Terrace, Brantford.
This charming program will be brought to you by Emily Hiemstra (viola) and Sonya Nanos (cello), both of whom have performed across North America and Europe in a variety of ensembles. Among the pieces to be performed are “Aesop’s Fables (i. the donkey, ii. the tortoise, iii. the wolf)” by Emly Hiemstra (London) and “The Cat and the Mouse” by Arcady composer Emma Theresa Verdonk (Brantford).
Each piece will include creative ways to engage the young audience through stories, actions, and auditory cues. Complimentary animal-themed activity pages and snacks will be provided following the concert.
