London woman facing charges after single-vehicle collision

Brant OPPLondon woman facing charges after single-vehicle collision

One person is facing impaired driving charges after Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members investigated a single-vehicle collision early Thursday morning in the County of Brant.

Brant County OPP members responded to a collision on Highway 403 in the County of Brant at approximately 1:24 a.m. on Thursday September 26, 2024.

It was determined a vehicle had left the roadway and collided with a tree. There were no reported injuries.

One person was arrested and transported to Brant OPP detachment for testing.

Police have charged Mary LAPOINTE, 27-years-of-age from London with the following offences:

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Dangerous Operation

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Brantford, Ontario at a later date.
