Ohsweken resident facing charges after RIDE stop

Brant OPPOhsweken resident facing charges after RIDE stop

Brant County OPP officers were conducting a RIDE program on Newport Road at River Road at approximately 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2025.

During the program, an Approved Screening Device (ASD) test was administered, resulting in a “Fail.”

As a result, Donna HENHAWK, 35, of Oshweken, was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Adult Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration – 80 Plus

The accused was transported to the Brant County OPP detachment for testing and was later released with conditions. Their vehicle was impounded for seven days.

They are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on May 1, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., to answer to the charges.
