OPP investigate after vehicle stolen during test drive

Brant OPPOPP investigate after vehicle stolen during test drive

Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating the theft of a 2014 Audi A6, stolen during a test drive in the Town of Paris in the area of Newbrook Street on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

At approximately 5:30 p.m., the suspect arrived at the seller’s residence driving a light silver, newer-model Hyundai 4-door sedan with dark tinted windows. After inspecting the 2014 Audi A6 (Ontario licence plate: DEBM 892), the suspect requested a test drive, but once behind the wheel, he immediately fled the scene. A second suspect, who remained inside the Hyundai, also left the area moments later.

SUSPECT DESCRIPTIONS:

  • Suspect #1:
  • Male, 25-30 years old
  • 5’7″, thin build
  • Short black hair, brown eyes, hairy hands
  • Short, well-groomed black beard tapered to the neck
  • Last seen wearing a black crew neck sweater with “Tommy Hilfiger” in bold white letters across the chest, and white runners with a red stripe featuring the same lettering
  • Suspect #2:
  • No physical description available due to dark tinted windows

VEHICLE INFORMATION:

Stolen Vehicle: 2014 Audi A6 (Ontario licence plate: DEBM 892), last seen fleeing westbound on Newbrook St.

Suspect Vehicle: Light silver Hyundai sedan with dark tinted windows

Brant County OPP is asking anyone with information, surveillance footage, or dashcam video from the area to contact Brant OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
