Six Nations Police charge person after motor vehicle collision

CrimeSix Nations Police charge person after motor vehicle collision

Officers of the Six Nations Police were advised of a motor vehicle collision with personal injury at  the intersection of Fifth Line Road and Onondaga Road at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 8, 2024.

Police responded to the collision, along with Emergency Medical Services and the Six Nations Fire Department. When police arrived on scene, they observed a vehicle in the ditch against a tree. Police spoke with the female driver of the vehicle. She was identified by witnesses as the  driver of the vehicle. When officers spoke with the driver, signs of impairment were observed. A passenger of the vehicle sustained major injuries. The passenger was transported to a local area hospital for treatment. 

As a result of the investigation, police have arrested and charged Natashia MOORE, 28-years-old, with the following criminal offences:   

– Impaired Operation 

– Alcohol per se Offence “80 plus” 

– Dangerous Driving – Bodily Harm 

– Drive Motor Vehicle – No Licence  

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford, Ontario on October 25, 2024. The vehicle was impounded for seven days.
