Ohsweken man facing 20 charges after search warrant executed

Six Nations Police executed search warrants at a Second Line Road and Fourth Line Road address on Six Nations on Thursday, July 25, 2024

As a result of the Section 11 Controlled Drug and Substances Act investigation, Six Nations Police recovered numerous firearms, ammunition, a stolen mobile trailer and a stolen off-road vehicle.  

Police have arrested and charged Roger Martin (44-years-old) of Ohsweken, ON with the following criminal offences:

– Possession over $5,000 x2 

– Firearm, Weapon, Ammunition: Careless Use x9 

– Firearm: Unauthorized Possession x8 

– Weapon: Unauthorized Possession 

The accused was held in custody for a formal bail hearing. 

Male and female arrested on outstanding warrants

Six Nations Police observed an individual known to police to have an outstanding arrest warrant working on multiple vehicles at a residence on Bicentennial Trail on Friday, August 2, 2024.

Additional officers were requested to respond to the location to assist. Once officers arrived on the scene, the male was taken into custody after attempting to flee in one of the motor vehicles. A female fled from the vehicle and was arrested after a short foot pursuit. It was revealed that both parties had warrants for their arrest from neighbouring police services. The police investigation also revealed that both vehicles were stolen. 

As a result of the investigation, police have arrested and charged Wesley Burning (30-years-old)  of Ohsweken, ON with the following criminal offences: 

− Possession Over $5,000 X2 

− Possession Under $5,000 

− Assault with Intent to Resist Arrest 

− Breach of Probation X3 

− Tampering with Vehicle Identification Number 

− Careless Storage – Firearm Ammunition 

Police have also arrested and charged Ashley Logan (28-years-old) of Ohsweken, ON with the  following Criminal offences: 

− Tampering with Vehicle Identification Number 

− Careless Storage – Firearm Ammunition 

− Fail to Comply with Release Order – Other Than to Attend Court 

− Possession Firearm Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order 

− Possession Over $5,000 X2 

– Possession Under $5,000 

− Obstruct Peace Officer 

− Fail to Comply with Release Order – Other Than to Attend Court 

− Breach of Probation 

Both accused were held in custody pending a formal bail hearing. 

Ohsweken residents facing charges after firearms investigation

Six Nations Police concluded a firearms investigation by executing a Section 487 search warrant at a Seneca Road address on Friday, July 5, 2024.

Two individuals were taken into custody without incident. Police located and seized multiple stolen vehicles and a prohibited  weapon.  

As a result of the investigation, police have arrested and charged Jeffrey Martin (44-years-old) of Ohsweken, ON with the following criminal offences:

− Possession over $5,000 x 3 

− Possession of a Prohibited Weapon 

− Firearm or Weapon: Possession Contrary to Prohibition Order 

Police have also arrested and charged Alana Hill (31-years-old) of Ohsweken,  ON with the following criminal offences: 

− Possession over $5,000 x 3 

− Possession of a Prohibited Weapon

Both accused were held in custody pending a formal bail hearing.
