On February 18, 2022, Six Nations of the Grand River Elected Council (SNGREC) received confirmation from Ohsweken Public Health that a twenty-fourth community member has passed away due to COVID-19.
SNGREC are saddened to see another life lost to this latest wave of COVID-19 and send their sincere condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of this community member.
This is the latest COVID-19 death reported on the territory since four deaths were announced on February 11, 2022.
Please continue to follow public health guidelines to protect yourself and others, including wearing a medical-grade mask where required, avoiding crowds, physical distancing, and self-isolating if you have symptoms of COVID-19.
