Six Nations Police  conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle driving on Sour Springs Road at a high rate of  speed above the posted speed limit at approximately 2:26 p.m. on May 22, 2024.

Further investigation resulted in the driver and  passenger being arrest for possession of a controlled substance. Police seized a large  quantity of cocaine, including a small amount of fentanyl from the vehicle and occupants. The driver was believed to be impaired by drugs or other substances. 

As a result of the investigation, Lashawntay Ryan Miller (24 years old) of Brantford, ON, has  been charged with the following criminal offences: 

– Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking: Cocaine 

– Possession of Fentanyl 

– Proceeds of Crime Under $5000 

– Impaired Operation Motor Vehicle 

– Driver Motor Vehicle Perform Stunt – Driver 50 KM/HR or More 

– Speeding 

– Drive Motor Vehicle Improper Licence 

Brandon Michael Element (24 years) of Brantford, ON, has been charged with the following criminal offences: 

– Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking: Cocaine 

– Possession of Fentanyl 

– Proceeds of Crime Under $5000 

Both Miller and Element were held into police custody pending formal bail hearings.
